Wedgwood Christian Services is dedicated to supporting children and families through residential care and counseling services. They are seeking a 3rd Shift Youth Treatment Specialist to implement individual treatment plans for boys aged 14-17, ensuring their safety and creating a nurturing environment.

Responsibilities

Implement individual treatment plans tailored to meet the needs of boys ages 14-17 in our program

Ensure the safety of each child

Manage tasks that create a warm, loving home for kids who need a refuge

Mentor residents

Build relationships utilizing trauma-informed care techniques

Help them develop healthy life skills

Teach teens to use their voices for positive outcomes

Consistently show up for our residents to help transform lives

Qualification

Required

Applicant must be at least 20 years of age

High school diploma required

Must have a valid driver's license

Ability to pivot, bend, twist and stoop while bearing weight of individuals served

Ability to lift 50 lbs. non-stationary weight through the approved technique is required

Subscription to the Statement of Faith of Wedgwood Christian Services and agreement with the goal, purpose, and objective of the agency

Preferred

Additional education and/or certification in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field preferred

Prior experience supervising at risk youth is preferred

Willing to pick up third shift hours with advanced notice
