The University of Texas at Austin is seeking an International Student Assistant to support the Office of Admissions International Staff. The role involves verifying high school credentials for prospective freshman applicants and performing various related tasks under minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

Assist with the verification of high school credentials including foreign and domestic high school transcripts for prospective freshman applicants
Assist with calculation of grades using provided resources, including varying domestic and international grading scales
Other duties as assigned

Required

Proficiency in use of personal computer workstation
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Exhibit flexibility, willingness to learn, and adaptability
Must be currently enrolled as a student at the University of Texas at Austin
Must be eligible for work study
Work-Study Verification form (available to print or download on CASH) will be required before acceptance of position
Applicants must submit resume & brief cover letter
Competitive candidates must be available to work approximately 15 hours per week on a set schedule to complete assignment efficiently
