The City of Forest Park is hiring a part-time Information Technology Intern (or Co-Op) to assist in a variety of entry-level IT tasks. The role involves job shadowing, assisting with setup and configuration, troubleshooting, and basic maintenance of hardware and software.

Responsibilities

Job shadowing/assist with projects
Assist with setup/configuration/testing
Research issues/solutions, attend, interact and document meetings and tasks
Install, configure new computers, tablets
Phones, Windows and IOS; setup hardware
Configure and install software
Setup new end point devices at user work spaces
Migrate data, settings and accounts
Set up printing
Document setup
Basic maintenance and troubleshooting for hardware and software on endpoint devices
Help with sorting, organizing and labeling storage room/data center

Required

Must be in college for an IT degree
Have good communication skills to discuss IT concepts with end users
Be able to take good notes
