Responsibilities

Provide network engineering, administration, and cybersecurity support for multi-classification cyber OT&E networks and infrastructure
Design, install, configure, and maintain cyber labs (attack, analysis, training), toolsets, and flyaway kits
Create virtualized environments to support test events, ensure operational readiness, and troubleshoot issues during execution
Administer network systems: apply patches, harden systems, review logs, and ensure physical/electronic security
Support RMF compliance activities, including documentation and vulnerability analysis
Configure networks to support penetration testing and on-keyboard cyber training events
Integrate server and virtual hosting technologies into secure network architecture
Coordinate with stakeholders and brief OPTEVFOR leadership on a weekly basis

Required

Bachelor's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or a related field (ABET/CAE-accredited) OR 5+ years' experience in network design, infrastructure, and security
At least 3 years of RMF security testing experience
Hands-on experience configuring routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers
Proficiency in Python, Perl, or shell scripting for automation
Experience applying STIGs, IAVA compliance, and DoD cybersecurity policies
Familiarity with RMF, network segmentation, and defense-in-depth design
Must have a current and active DoD TS security clearance with the ability to obtain a SCI clearance
Proficient with modern IT tools and infrastructure technologies

Preferred

Working knowledge of LAN/WAN architecture, VPN security, PKI, and common attack vectors
Familiarity with Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) tools and traffic analysis
Experience supporting DoD environments and cyber OT&E missions
Understanding of RMF documentation, security assessments, and accreditation artifacts
