Responsibilities
IV Administration: Start and monitor IV therapy, ensuring safe and effective fluid administration
Client Monitoring: Assess client’s physical health, including vital signs, and monitor their response to treatment
Infection Management: Prevent and manage infections associated with IV therapy
Assessment: Conduct physical assessments, including evaluating mental status, and identify any contraindications to IV therapy
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, therapy services, assessments, and treatment responses
Client Communication: Effectively communicate with clients about their therapy, ensuring they understand the process and feel comfortable throughout their treatment
Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned to support clinic operations
Qualification
Required
Credentialed as an RN (Registered Nurse), EMT - Paramedic
Strong understanding of anatomy, medical terminology, and medical practice functions
Expertise in venous access with the ability to access peripheral veins
Minimum of 2 years in vascular access or IV infusion, with strong venous access skills
Excellent intravenous catheter placement
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Attention to detail and ability to multitask
Customer service-oriented with a focus on patient confidentiality
Self-motivated and able to manage time effectively
Problem-solving abilities and independent judgment
