The role involves working with project teams to create civil engineering designs, develop permitting and construction plans, and interact with clients and contractors throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Work with project teams to create civil engineering site development designs

Develop permitting and construction plans

Prepare municipal zoning and land development applications for clients

Design site layouts, site grading, erosion and sedimentation controls, stormwater management facilities, and site utilities

Interact with clients, contractors, and local government officials throughout the project

Plan and execute projects in coordination with Project Managers and Principals

Communicate with clients and develop new client opportunities

Mentor junior staff on technical items

Attend industry organization and client meetings

Qualification

Civil EngineeringAutoCAD Civil 3DEIT certificationHydroCADStorm SewersMentoringProject Management

Required

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent

5+ years of professional engineering experience

Proficiency in computer modeling software, including AutoCAD Civil 3D, HydroCAD, and Storm Sewers

Ability and desire to mentor junior staff

Preferred

Masters degree

EIT certification or P.E. license
