Responsibilities
Deliver strategic legal counsel on international estate planning, including the creation and administration of trusts, foundations, and other planning vehicles
Assess clients’ global assets, family dynamics, and tax exposure to develop customized estate plans aligned with their long-term goals
Navigate and apply international laws, treaties, and jurisdictional nuances to ensure compliance and optimize outcomes
Conduct in-depth legal research on cross-border tax planning, inheritance laws, and fiduciary obligations
Qualification
Required
J.D. from an accredited law school
Active license to practice law in New York
15–20 years of experience in international trusts and estates law, with a proven record of success
Comprehensive understanding of international estate planning, tax treaties, and cross-border legal frameworks
Expertise in trust administration, fiduciary duties, and wealth management for high-net-worth individuals
Preferred
LLM in Taxation or Estate Planning preferred but not required
