They are seeking a Staff Surveyor to collaborate with teams on land surveying projects, supervise field crews, and ensure compliance with industry standards while mentoring junior staff.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with other professional surveyors and teams to deliver project scope and meet schedules

Supervise and support field crews and office technicians on complex land surveying projects

Review drawings, and other deliverables in compliance with state and industry standards

Serve as a point of contact for clients and ensure effective communication throughout project delivery

Mentor team members and provide training on state survey requirements and QA/QC processes

Contribute to the company’s strategic goals through additional responsibilities as needed

Qualification

Civil 3DTrimble Business CenterLicensed Land SurveyorLand surveying experienceTeam coordination skillsCommunication skillsLeadership skills

Required

More than 5 years of experience in land surveying or related field

Proficiency in Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center is required

Strong communication, leadership, and team coordination skills

Preferred

Certification such as LSIT, Certified Survey Technician Level II, III, or IV, or Licensed Land Surveyor (LLS) preferred

Familiarity with transportation and utility projects a plus

Ability to work primarily onsite at our Newmarket, NH office is preferred, but candidates may also work from whichever of our office locations is most convenient — including Bedford or Keene, NH, or Kennebunk, ME
