Responsibilities

Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the US
Build a strong pipeline and convert leads into loyal customers
Tailor the eShepherd value proposition to meet each producer’s unique needs
Lead product demos, negotiations, and contract closures
Collaborate with marketing and customer success teams to deliver an exceptional experience from first contact to long-term adoption

Required

Solid understanding of agriculture, with a strong background in livestock and ranch management
Sales experience in a solution-focused environment
Emotional intelligence and relationship-building savvy
Strategic thinking with a results-driven mindset
Comfort working independently, remotely, and on the road (expect regular travel - up to 60-70% of the time)
5+ years of experience in strategic sales or business development, ideally within the agri-sector
Either a relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent hands-on experience (e.g. 10+ years selling to livestock producers)

Preferred

Experience with CRM and enterprise software (SAP preferred)
Understanding of the dynamics and challenges within federal agencies such as the Bureau of Land Management and Forest Service
Experience in a start-up business environment
