As a Senior/Staff Fullstack Engineer, you will collaborate with cofounders to design and build AI-powered features, shaping the product and technical foundation of the company while impacting users' relationships in the real world.

Responsibilities
Collaborate directly with cofounders and the founding team to design, build, and ship AI-powered features end-to-end
Use AI tools and agents daily in your workflows to accelerate development, experimentation, and product polish
Own building product across the full stack: from designing database schemas and backend APIs to building polished, performant user interfaces
Design and build event-driven systems (background jobs, queues, notifications) that keep our product responsive and reliable
Integrate with Large Language Models (LLMs) via a centralized API wrapper, handling prompt engineering, orchestration logic, and vector embeddings
Balance speed and quality: write tested, documented, high-quality code that’s built for near term maintenance while avoiding premature optimization
Shape the culture of the engineering team from day one, influencing everything from coding standards to product philosophy
Qualification
Required
AI-native mindset: you already use multiple AI tools and agents as part of your daily development workflow
Product-minded builder: you love crafting polished, consumer-facing products and UIs—not just backend systems
Full-stack expertise: comfort moving between managed services infra, backend, and frontend, with particular strength in TypeScript, serverless, React, Next.js, and Postgres
Code philosophy: pragmatic and purposeful—you write production-ready, high quality product grounded in validated learnings. You design software for what's needed now, with future scalability in mind, but don't implement that until it's needed
Strong collaboration skills: you're experienced and excited to work closely with founders, product, and design, in an early-stage, high-velocity environment
Coding experience: you've been designing and building consumer-facing products for at least 7 years, including in a fullstack TypeScript environment for at least 3 years
