Sales Director - Amazon.com
Just Play, LLC is a leader in the children’s consumer goods industry, known for its innovative products in collaboration with major entertainment brands. They are seeking a Toy Sales Director for Amazon to drive revenue growth and market share, requiring strategic planning and relationship management within the Amazon marketplace.

Responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies tailored to Amazon’s platform, including forecasting, assortments, promotions, site maintenance, and product placements
Build and maintain strong relationships with Amazon’s account managers and other key stakeholders to influence decisions and secure favorable terms for our products
Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, including sales volume, conversion rates, and ROI. Adjust strategies as needed to meet or exceed sales targets
Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats within the toy industry on Amazon
Oversee the creation and optimization of product listings to ensure they are compelling, SEO-friendly, and aligned with Amazon’s best practices
Plan and execute promotional campaigns, including Amazon Ads and Lightning Deals, to drive traffic and increase sales
Coordinate with supply chain and inventory teams to ensure product availability and timely fulfillment
Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to ensure a cohesive approach to product launches and customer satisfaction
Provide regular reports and insights to senior management on sales performance, market trends, and strategic initiatives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field
Minimum of 5–7 years of total sales experience, with at least 3 years in Amazon or eCommerce sales and Toy related experience
Proven success scaling toy or consumer product brands on Amazon (Vendor Central, Seller Central, or both)
Deep understanding of Amazon's algorithm, SEO, PPC, Buy Box dynamics, A+ content, and FBA processes
Proven track record of success in managing and growing sales on Amazon or similar e-commerce platforms
Strong understanding of Amazon's platform, including its algorithms, tools, and advertising solutions
Excellent analytical, negotiation, communication and leadership skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions
Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Advanced collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills
Proficient in all Microsoft Office programs: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
Proficient in Amazon Seller/Vendor tools and eCommerce analytics platforms
Knowledge of 1P and 3P business processes
Travel as needed
Fluency in English (both written and verbal)
Preferred
Experience with Amazon Vendor Central preferred
Knowledge of toy industry trends and consumer behavior preferred
Familiarity with Amazon's promotional tools and advertising options preferred
Familiarity with omni-channel retail and marketplaces beyond Amazon (e.g., Walmart.com, Target+, Shopify)
