New Grad, Entry LevelHarper Industries, Inc. is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Laser Operator to join their 2nd shift team. The role involves operating CNC laser cutting equipment and supporting first shift operations while ensuring high-quality production in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
Operate CNC laser cutting equipment, ensuring accuracy and part quality
Set up and monitor machines based on job specifications and production requirements
Assist with first shift operations, including:
Operating the piranha ironworker
Running the tube bender
Supporting press brake operators as needed
Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and job instructions
Perform quality checks using calipers, tape measures, and other tools
Handle and organize materials before and after cutting
Clean, deburr, and prepare parts for the next production phase
Follow all safety guidelines and wear required PPE
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Perform basic machine maintenance and report issues promptly
Qualification
Required
Experience with CNC laser cutting preferred
Familiarity with fabrication equipment such as piranha ironworker, tube bender, and press brake is a plus
Ability to read and understand blueprints and use standard measuring tools
Strong attention to detail and work ethic
Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and standing throughout the shift
Team-oriented with strong communication skills
Willingness to work overtime as needed
