Responsibilities
Design of branch circuit distribution systems for power and lighting in commercial facilities
Design of overall site and building power distribution systems
Perform various electrical calculations to support system designs
Perform construction administration (CA) tasks such as reviewing submittals/shop drawings, responding to RFIs, and attending CA meetings
Participate in site visits to evaluate field installations and conduct field observations
Plan, schedule, conduct, and/or coordinate detailed phases of assigned project work while maintaining quality standards on all projects
Participate in internal/external design coordination meetings
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Strong attention to detail with excellent verbal and written communication
Team-oriented, hands-on, adaptive and client-focused
Ability to work under pressure with demanding deadlines with a high sense of urgency
Advanced knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD
Proficiency in Bluebeam
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Office Suite, including Teams, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
Recent experience in electrical engineering design with an architectural or MEP firm
Proficient interpersonal skills and experience helping maintain successful client relationships
Current valid driver's license and insurable driving record
Must pass a background check and drug test
