Manager - Viewhouse Colorado Springs
Lotus Concepts Management is seeking a committed, experienced Manager to join their team at Viewhouse in Colorado Springs, an independently owned eatery known for its vibrant atmosphere and local products. The ideal candidate will lead a team, manage daily operations, and ensure guest satisfaction in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities
Supervise, train, and motivate front of house staff, including servers, hosts, and bartenders
Ensure staff are knowledgeable about the menu, specials, and restaurant policies
Maintain a positive and productive work environment, fostering teamwork and collaboration
Maintain a strong presence on the floor during peak business hours, ensuring guest satisfaction and resolving issues
Foster positive guest relationships by anticipating needs, providing recommendations, and addressing inquiries with a commitment to the brand
Oversee service quality, ensuring timely, efficient, and friendly service
Monitor the dining area to ensure cleanliness, comfort, and a pleasant atmosphere
Assist with daily cash handling, including opening and closing the register
Assist with labor cost control, optimizing staffing levels to meet demand
Monitor tipping procedures and ensure proper distribution
Manage seating arrangements and reservation systems, ensuring efficient flow of guests
Monitor and maintain restaurant inventory, including supplies and equipment for the front of house
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety standards
Act as a liaison between the front and back of house to ensure smooth operations
Attend regular staff meetings and provide feedback to improve service standards
Assist in creating and implementing promotional activities, events, and marketing strategies
Develop and maintain work schedules for front of house staff, ensuring proper coverage during peak hours
Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, including maintaining TIPS and ServSafe certifications
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in a front of house leadership role preferred (restaurant, hospitality, or similar)
Strong understanding of food and beverage operations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team in a fast-paced environment
Exceptional problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
Basic understanding of financials, including budget and labor cost management
Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required
