Responsibilities
Interpret between English and Somali language
Have the ability to accurately interpret between English and Any
Maintain professionalism through attitude and interpreting services
Must have reliable transportation for onsite appointments, and a reliable phone, internet connection and a quiet work environment for virtual appointments
Understand language variations and interpreting modes
Qualification
Required
Proficient in English and Any languages in both written and spoken forms
Proficient computer skill including but not limited emails, scheduling system, zoom, Microsoft teams and etc
Advanced Interpretation Skills and Communication skills
Be familiar with Interpreting modes - Simultaneous or Consecutive, VRI, OPI, OSI
Certified in Interpreting or related field - BA in interpretation or Translation or related field
At least 1-2 years experience interpreting in a professional setting
