Electrical Tech, Weekend Shift

EK is seeking a motivated Electrical Tech to join their Electrical Team, working the weekend shift from Friday to Sunday. The role involves assisting Licensed Electricians in building advanced power system enclosures and performing a variety of electrical installation tasks.

Responsibilities

Performs a wide variety of electrical installation work on electrical systems and equipment
Installs complex wiring circuits and distribution centers in conformance with established codes as directed by electricians
Installs switches and controls, central and subsidiary control panels, electronic devices, and other gear incidental to the installation
Follows electrical drawings and work instructions
Uses all required electrical measuring and testing devices
Complies with prescribed safety regulations
Works from a general assignment and completes project with direction from electricians
Assembles functional parts of enclosures using hand tools, levels, and straight edges
Assembles, installs and/or repairs wiring, electrical and electronic components and equipment
Uses tools ranging from common hand and power tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches, to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices
Completes tasks in a timely manner
Cleans and organizes work area

Quick-learning and motivated person
Ability to perform a wide variety of electrical installation work on electrical systems and equipment

Ability to follow electrical drawings and work instructions
Ability to use all required electrical measuring and testing devices
