Responsibilities

Market Research: Conduct in-depth market research to identify potential clients and industry trends within the logistics and transportation sector where Cornerstone Systems can provide a solution
Lead Generation: Develop and implement effective lead generation strategies primarily targeting Tier 1& 2 level Shippers /Beneficial Cargo Owners via cold calling, email, industry and networking events, social media and other channels
Face to Face Meetings: Schedule meetings with qualified leads to effectively represent and market Cornerstone’s solutions and service offerings
Collaboration: Work closely with Account Management personnel to ensure a successful transition of Client and Customer relationships within the designated timeframe
Pipeline: Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients, focusing on delivering tailor-made solutions
Proposal Development: Prepare or support the preparation of compelling proposals and presentations tailored to the specific needs of logistics and transportation clients
Event Participation: Participate in industry events, conferences, and webinars focused on logistics and transportation
Marketing Support: Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop and execute targeted marketing campaigns
Travel: Travel to industry events as needed

Qualification

Required

2+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a similar role within the logistics and transportation industry
Strong understanding of the logistics and transportation industry, including key players, trends, and challenges
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work remotely, independently, and as part of a team
A passion for building relationships and closing deals within the logistics and transportation industry
