Responsibilities

Smart Contract and Protocol Development: Drive the development of new chain deployments, novel DeFi interoperability and bridging solutions, and DeFi protocols for Ondo Finance’s ever-evolving product suite
Technical Leadership: Serve as a tech lead and subject matter expert for blockchain projects, guiding the engineering team in delivering high-impact, scalable solutions while making sound technical decisions that align with long-term goals

Required

Based in PT, MT, CT, or ET time zones
Excellent technical and non-technical communication skills, verbal and written
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
5+ years of software engineering experience
Minimum of 3+ years of experience working in blockchain engineering, ideally coming from another Defi Protocol live on multiple chains
A strong competency with Solidity and other non-EVM smart contract languages
Proven results in building and scaling a Defi protocol
Strong technical grasp and excellent judgment on task prioritizations
Strong emphasis on understanding the 'why' behind requirements and commitment defining the 'minimum scope'
