The Construction Engineering Intern will support the firm’s transportation, water, and wastewater departments by participating in field observations and working directly with clients on various construction projects.

Responsibilities
Construction services associated with quantity computation, construction layout, survey, and construction inspection
Field work, studies, and design of water and wastewater system rehabilitation
Assisting engineers with the evaluation, study, and design of transportation, storm sewer, potable water, sanitary sewers, and treatment plant improvements
Qualification
Required
Ongoing pursuit of a 4-year degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in construction engineering
Available to start May 2026
Ability to travel throughout Baxter & Woodman service area (own transportation)
Work in a team environment
Strong written, verbal, computer, and organizational skills
Desire and ability to work outdoors 40+ hours per week
Able to identify and solve problems promptly
