Senior Director - Head of Global Transformation
Grant Thornton is seeking a Head of the Global Transformation Office to join the team. This role involves leading and coordinating the execution of the firm’s strategic transformation agenda globally, ensuring major change programs are delivered effectively and with measurable impact. The position focuses on fostering a people-centric approach to transformation while overseeing functions such as strategic planning, change management, and capability development.

Responsibilities
Partner with the Executive Committee to identify and prioritize key initiatives
Translate strategic goals into comprehensive transformation roadmap aligned with the firm’s strategic objectives
Build and manage a high-performing transformation team (program managers, analysts, change leads)
Implement and maintain governance frameworks to manage interdependencies, risks, milestones, and budgets
Develop, track and provide regular updates on KPIs and value realization
Lead the firm-wide change strategy, ensuring initiatives are embedded into operations and business culture
Coach leaders and sponsor change agents to build internal change capabilities
Collaborate with People & Culture teams to create and deliver effective communication and cultural reinforcement
Support capability building through transformation toolkits and best practices
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, or Finance
A minimum of 15 years of related experience in global corporate transformation, or strategic operations roles, preferably within the Professional Services industry
Proven ability to lead enterprise-wide transformation with a strong track record of change adoption and value realization
Strong analytical, strategic execution, and stakeholder management skills
High emotional intelligence, resilience, and ability to influence behavior in complex environments
Ability to travel as needed
Preferred
MBA or equivalent graduate degree
Change management certification (e.g., Prosci, ACMP) strongly preferred; PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or Agile credentials are a plus
