Responsibilities

This position is responsible for repairs, installation of electrical systems

Repair and install lighting and power distribution systems

Utilize ammeters and other testing equipment to diagnose electrical issues

Perform new construction and renovations

Perform electrical safety inspections/practices

Ensure work is done in accordance with the National Electrical Code and in a professional manner

Perform other duties as may be required by supervisor

Work with both low voltage and high voltage systems as required

Collaborate with construction teams on-site to coordinate electrical work with other trades

Perform routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or malfunctions

Provide guidance on frame carpentry as it relates to electrical installations/repairs when necessary

Install Stand-by Generators

Wire new and remodel residential projects

Identify and troubleshoot electrical problems using appropriate testing devices

Perform general electrical maintenance
