Responsibilities
Collaborate with stakeholders and partner teams across the organization to architect ads ML Training infrastructure solutions to unlock Pinterest ads models innovations
Mentor engineers to develop their careers and achieve their goals, from early career through senior level, setting the technical vision, guiding the day-to-day execution, as well as fostering good team health and culture
Lead the team to build the next-generation Pinterest Ads ML foundations. Opportunities to use cutting edge ML technologies including GPU, Cuda, Feature Store and LLMs to empower 100x bigger models with more enrichment model features
Act as a stalwart of technical quality and excellence on the team, ensuring the solutions we deliver have a high level of polish and reliability
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, or equivalent experience
2+ years of management experience, or tech lead experiences in 8+ people team (3+ years)
8+ years of relevant industry experience in leading the design of large scale & production ML infra systems and Model Training framework
Deep knowledge with building distributed systems or recommendation infrastructure
Strong cross-functional collaborator and communicator
Strong people development skills. You have helped people grow in their careers
