Lead Product Designer -- HealthTech, UX/UI & New Product Development
CRI Genetics is a science-driven HealthTech company committed to making advanced genetic insights simple, actionable, and personal. They are seeking a Senior Product Designer to lead the design of their AI-powered DNA experience, focusing on creating intuitive and engaging user experiences. The role involves end-to-end UX design, prototyping, and collaboration with engineers to enhance the product.

Responsibilities
Leading end-to-end UX for our DNA insights platform (from user input to result cards)
Own the end-to-end user experience across core product areas
Designing intuitive, evidence-backed experiences in complex subject matter (genetics, AI)
Prototyping (Figma or interactive) and collaborating tightly with engineers
Building a simple, trustworthy design system and visual language
Conducting usability studies and translating findings into UX improvements
Pairing with AI/LLM engineers to improve chat results, input/output structure, and navigation
Define and track success metrics both quantitative (engagement, activation) and qualitative (user satisfaction, clarity)
Qualification
Required
5–10+ years experience in product design, UX, or interaction design
Skilled at user research, journey mapping, and rapid prototyping
Strong portfolio of end-to-end design work: problem → exploration → shipped result → impact
Comfort designing data-heavy, health-related, or AI-enhanced products
Experience building or extending design systems
Deep UX and visual craft from wireframes to flows to final UI polish
Preferred
Bonus: background in genomics, science platforms, or tools with regulatory context (HIPAA/CLIA)
