Wireless Network Engineer
Princeton IT Services, Inc is seeking a Wireless Network Engineer to support the operation, configuration, and evolution of critical security infrastructure. The successful candidate will lead projects and collaborate across teams to enhance wireless technologies and security offerings while working with complex network environments.

Responsibilities
Implement and configure network protocols such as EIGRP, MPLS, OSPF, BGP, SSH, TCP/IP, UDP, SSL, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, SIEM, VPC, STP, RSTP, VTP, QoS, ACLs, VxLAN, FTP, SIP, RTP, and related protocols
Deploy and manage network security products: firewalls, IPSec, IDS/IPS, anti-spam, virus scanning, RADIUS, PKI, certificates, and other security measures
Utilize scripting tools (Python, Perl, Bash, Terraform, Ansible, PHP, Javascript) for automation and orchestration
Perform day-to-day network operations: routing, switching, VPN, LAN, WAN, network security, intrusion detection, antivirus, and change management
Operate and manage Fortinet firewalls, F5/AVI load balancers, SD-WAN architectures, and WAN automation tools
Use Cisco CLI, network monitoring tools (Wireshark, NetFlow, syslog, TCPDUMP), and multiple operating systems (Windows, OSX, Linux)
Conduct network and security assessments to troubleshoot, optimize performance, and recommend improvements
Document networks, systems, MOPs, and operational materials
Support and lead the design, testing, evaluation, and implementation of new architectures and technologies
Provide off-hours troubleshooting support when required
Qualification
Required
12+ years of experience in IT network engineering or architecture
Strong hands-on expertise with Fortinet Firewalls architecture
Proven experience in complex routing & switching environments
Solid background with virtualization technologies
Ability to work independently and deliver results under minimal supervision
Experience implementing network patches
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Preferred
Strong customer support and interpersonal skills (client-facing)
Cisco WLAN and ISE experience
Familiarity with remote access technologies (Citrix, IPSec VPN)
Working knowledge of ITIL processes (Incident, Change, and Problem Management)
Active CCNP certification (Security/Route/Switch) preferred
