InternPoint72 is a leading global alternative investment firm, and they are seeking exceptional students to join as quantitative developer interns for Summer 2025. Interns will work closely with the team to develop scalable quantitative equity trading signals and receive comprehensive training.

Responsibilities
Enhancing quantitative research platforms by benchmarking and integrating in-house and cloud technologies
Optimizing data ETL pipelines, persistent/in-memory caches, and SQL databases
Improving research and trading tools and infrastructure
Qualification
Required
Undergraduate or higher degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or other quantitative discipline
Strong programming experience in Python with production-level coding quality
Experience with Unix environment and shell scripting
Experience with cloud computing, ideally AWS and Databricks
Experience with numerical Python libraries (e.g. Numpy, Pandas, PyTorch, etc.)
Knowledge of version control (Git) and software CI/CD tools and lifecycle
Willing to take ownership of his/her work, working both independently and within a small team
Commitment to the highest ethical standards
Preferred
Knowledge of profiling (e.g. cProfile, SnakeViz, memory-profiler, etc.) and code optimization is a plus
Knowledge of statistics and machine learning is a plus
Prior experience in the financial services industry is not required
