Professional Aide
Michigan State University is seeking applications for a part-time Nurse Planner within the College of Nursing. The Nurse Planner will evaluate continuing nursing professional development activities in alignment with accreditation guidelines and ensure program offerings meet strategic and excellence standards.

Responsibilities
Serve as a Nurse Planner (NP) as described by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) for continuing nursing professional development
Evaluate current program offerings for accreditation transfer
Ensure alignment of processes and activities with the Michigan State University College of Nursing's overall strategic and excellence plan and accreditation standards
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree
Unrestricted RN license (or eligible) in Michigan
Experience with educational evaluation that may include professional development, organizational/ hospital educator, or academic nursing education roles, such as clinical, laboratory, simulation, and/or didactic areas
Experience with Microsoft Office
Must demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills
Must be able to work independently
Preferred
NPD Specialist (graduate degree and current NPD certification)
Experience with accreditation standards and processes
MSN, Master's degree, DNP, or PhD in Nursing or a related area
