Responsibilities
Develop engaging and visually appealing posts, videos, and stories for social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Twitter (X), and Instagram
Write clear, concise, and compelling copy tailored to different audiences
Assist in designing a cohesive social media strategy that aligns with the company’s vision and goals
Create and maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent and timely posting
Monitor comments, messages, and mentions to foster a sense of community and engagement
Track key performance metrics (e.g., engagement rates, follower growth) to measure the impact of campaigns
Provide insights and recommendations for improving content and strategy based on data
Stay updated on social media trends and identify opportunities to adopt innovative approaches
Explore partnerships with influencers, science communicators, and relevant organizations
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Science Communication, or a related field
Strong understanding of major social platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter/X)
Exceptional writing and editing skills with attention to tone and detail
Experience with design tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar
Basic video/photo editing skills (bonus points for Reels or short-form video creation)
Must be a U.S. person as defined by U.S. export regulations
Preferred
Passionate about space exploration, pharmaceuticals, or biotechnology
Creative thinker with the ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences
Highly organized, proactive, and capable of meeting deadlines
