Responsibilities
Partner with Underwriting and business teams to design and deliver reporting solutions that support business growth and risk management
Build, optimize, and maintain ETL pipelines and dashboards using Power BI and SQL
Translate complex business needs into technical requirements and collaborate with IT for implementation
Analyze large datasets to uncover patterns, trends, and actionable insights
Ensure data accuracy and integrity by validating results and documenting data lineage
Promote best practices in data visualization, KPI development, and reporting standards
Support data governance initiatives and collaborate cross-functionally to enhance data quality and usability
Qualification
Required
Minimum 10+ years of professional experience, with at least 3 years in the insurance industry
Strong understanding of financial and operational metrics
Proven ability to lead end-to-end data projects in fast-paced environments
Advanced SQL expertise (working with structured and unstructured data formats such as JSON, XML)
Strong background in Data Warehousing, integration, and reporting
Hands-on experience with Power BI for dashboarding and visualization
ETL development with MS SSIS and Visual Studio
Familiarity with Azure Cloud and Data Lake technologies
Preferred
Experience with Databricks
Knowledge of data governance practices and KPI development standards
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
