Responsibilities

Handle workers’ compensation cases from inception to resolution

Perform all necessary legal and factual research

Issue and answer discovery

Conduct and defend depositions

Engage experts, as necessary

Prepare for and attend hearings, mediations, and arbitrations, as necessary

Prepare and respond to motions

Prepare legal memoranda, briefs, and reports, as necessary

Engage in settlement negotiations and resolve cases

Satisfy any and all reporting requirements of workers’ compensation carriers

Communicate regularly with clients, providing timely updates on case developments

Required

Workers' compensation carrier defense experience
