Fixins Soul Kitchen is a rapidly expanding restaurant group that aims to redefine the American soul food experience. They are seeking an enthusiastic and dependable Barback to support their bar team in a high-energy, fast-paced environment, ensuring that bartenders can deliver excellent service.

Responsibilities

Restock glassware, liquor, garnishes, and ice to ensure bartenders have what they need throughout service

Prep and maintain bar production items including purees, juices and fruit garnishes

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including bar tops, equipment, and storage

Assist bartenders with inventory management and restocking supplies

Help deliver drinks and provide assistance to guests when needed

Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards

Clean and organize the bar at the beginning and end of each shift

Required

Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume bar environment

Positive, team-oriented attitude with excellent communication skills

Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs

Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Must have or be willing to obtain Food Handler's Card and Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification if required by law (Certifications differ per state)

Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs

Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching

Exposure to hot surfaces, kitchen equipment, and potential allergens
