Senior Manager, People Operations
The Sandberg Goldberg Bernthal Family Foundation (SGBFF) works to build a more equal and resilient world through various initiatives. They are seeking a Senior Manager of People Operations to enhance team support and culture by managing core HR processes and implementing learning and development initiatives.

Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate day-to-day People Operations activities including recruiting, onboarding, benefits, compliance, performance management, and employee engagement
Serve as the first point of contact for employees on HR-related matters, escalating as needed
Maintain and improve our HR systems and tools, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
Partner with the SVP of Operations on policy implementation and process improvements
Help develop and implement learning and development initiatives that support employee growth
Handle sensitive employee matters with discretion and professionalism
Qualification
Required
7+ years of professional experience in People Operations/HR, ideally in startups or high-growth company
Demonstrated success supporting and improving HR programs in remote or distributed teams
Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and compliance
Experience with HRIS and people management platforms; tech-savvy and quick to adopt new tools
A 'roll up your sleeves' mindset—flexible, proactive, and comfortable shifting between day-to-day execution and project support
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on empathy, confidentiality, and integrity
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving, and entrepreneurial environment
