Federal Work Study Student, Student Financial Aid

The University of Texas Medical Branch is seeking a Federal Work Study Student to provide tutoring services to children in need. The role involves tutoring in reading, math, and science while assisting the Site Coordinator in preparing instructional materials and maintaining resources.

Responsibilities

Tutor children in reading and math
Provide academic tutoring and academic enrichment support to elementary, middle, and high school students
Work closely with at-risk students in early reading, math, and science skills
Assist Site Coordinator in preparing instructional lessons and materials related to tutoring students
Work collaboratively with Site Coordinator to review the data and use it to inform instruction that is relevant to the student's specific needs in reading, math, and science
Help with inventory, care, and maintenance of reading, math, and science resources and materials
Keep administrative records and prepare required reports related to student tutoring data
