Federal Work Study Student, Student Financial Aid
The University of Texas Medical Branch is seeking a Federal Work Study Student to provide tutoring services to area children in need of additional help in reading and mathematical competency. The role involves assisting with academic support for elementary, middle, and high school students, as well as collaborating with the Site Coordinator to prepare instructional materials and maintain educational resources.

Responsibilities
Tutor children in reading and math. Provide academic tutoring and academic enrichment support to elementary, middle, and high school students. Work closely with at-risk students in early reading, math, and science skills
Assist Site Coordinator in preparing instructional lessons and materials related to tutoring students. Work collaboratively with Site Coordinator to review the data and use it to inform instruction that is relevant to the student's specific needs in reading, math, and science
Help with inventory, care, and maintenance of reading, math, and science resources and materials. Keep administrative records and prepare required reports related to student tutoring data
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma
UTMB Student enrolled at least half time
