As the Manager of the Vehicle Design and Integration team, you will lead a diverse group of engineers in driving autonomous vehicle architecture decisions, systems design, and integrated systems testing.

Responsibilities
Direct vehicle level projects through the planning, design, and testing phases of development
Manage engineers performing vehicle design and system trades as well as running system level bench and aircraft testing
Own projects as an individual contributor
Support the engineering organization through design and testing of primary flight control hardware, data acquisition systems, hardware in the loop testing, ground station development, and integration with the software and human-machine-interface teams
Guide the schedule and sequencing of large integration projects with significant ownership of which aircraft functions are the highest priority to be integrated and tested on vehicle
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in science or engineering or equivalent industry experience
8+ Years of industry experience designing, integrating, and testing electromechanical systems
Solid understanding of engineering fundamentals
Experience applying system design fundamentals
Experience reading electrical wiring schematics
Experience testing systems for proper performance
Experience managing project tasks, milestones, schedules, and execution
Strong interpersonal skills and an interest in people management
Preferred
Experience designing a system architecture and weighing design options to accomplish specific system requirements
Experience performing vehicle safety assessments, risk assessments, and contingency management
Ability to design, build, and operate test stands and equipment
Excellent measurement, technical writing, and data analysis skills
Eagerness to both teach and learn
Ability to work both independently and as a leader of a high performing team
Must be willing to travel up to 10% of the time
