Responsibilities

Utilize computer design and graphics software to complete project Construction Documents
Study and apply building code, material code and/or jurisdictional requirements to complete project design calculations under the supervision of the Project Manager
Assist Project Manager in Construction Administration, including checking of submittals, responding to RFIs, and conducting field observations
Communicate and coordinate project design with clients, other team consultants, and contractors

Required

Bachelor's degree in engineering from an engineering curriculum in Architectural, Civil, Structural, or related engineering field
Has passed FE Examination
0-4 years' experience

Preferred

Master's degree in engineering from an engineering curriculum in Architectural, Civil, Structural, or related engineering field
Bachelor's degree received from an institution with ABET accreditation in field of study
GPA of 3.5 or higher
Working knowledge of building and material design codes
Experience using computer design and graphics software for building structural design and documentation (AutoDesk REVIT, RAM, SAP, ETABS, RISA, etc.)
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Strong written and interpersonal communication skills with a commitment to client service and a team-based approach
Construction field experience
Experience programming in Grasshopper, Python, Dynamo, SQL, C#, C++, VBA
