Responsibilities
Develop tailored investment strategies for institutional clients with complex objectives and constraints, including pension funds, endowments, foundations, financial institutions, and ultra-high-net-worth individuals
Conduct in-depth quantitative research on asset allocation, portfolio construction and investment selection. Provide investment recommendations to enhance portfolio characteristics for both existing and prospective clients
Support the creation and maintenance of proprietary analytical tools, including capital market assumptions and factor models
Assist in formulating client pitches and support the onboarding process for new client portfolios
Efficiently manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and successful completion
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative discipline such as Financial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field
1–3+ years of experience in a quantitative investment, strategy, or risk role, preferably within a buy-side firm
Proficient in programming, with a preference for Python
Resourceful and self-motivated with a strong intellectual curiosity
Attention to details, with the ability to follow through and oversee projects to completion
Capable of producing high-quality work independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment
Able to work effectively under time-sensitive constraints
Adept at identifying problems and developing solutions
Preferred
Experience with MATLAB is a plus
Strong understanding of portfolio theory, asset allocation concepts, and macroeconomic indicators is a plus
