Mechanical Engineer I

Performing load calculations
Determining system sizing and layouts
Calculating equipment sizes
Selecting equipment
Completing field surveys
Reviewing equipment shop drawings
Leading mechanical project teams
Writing specifications
Participating in project meetings with clients and other consultants
Supporting construction-phase work
Qualification
Required
BSME/BSAE from ABET accredited school
Minimum GPA of 2.5
Non-academic internship
Strong spoken and written communications skills
Excellent organization and time management skills
Quick technical comprehension and motivation focused on client outcomes
Able to effectively prioritize multiple tasks
Effective working individually and within team environments
Preferred
Leadership involvement in extracurricular activities/student organizations preferred
EIT certification (Passed the FE exam) a plus
Internship experience in the MEP consulting engineering field preferred
