Townley Engineering & Manufacturing is a rapidly growing company specializing in wear and abrasion solutions for various industries. They are seeking a Manufacturing Technician in Assembly to assemble components, perform quality checks, and maintain tools used in production.

Responsibilities

Preform all product testing to ensure quality of each piece

Test finished products for defects

Maintain the tools used to create products

Assembles products and parts

Reads and deciphers schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructions

Verify specifications by measuring completed component

Monitors the production line and removes faulty products

Performing assigned product manufacturing and assembly tasks

Conducting quality checks on the functionality of parts and components

Adding finishing touches to the appearance of components

Performing minor repairs and reporting breakdowns in a timely manner

Keeping equipment maintenance logs

Collaborating with other departments to complete production orders on time

Complying with internal policies and industry regulations

Ensure work area is clean and safe

Must be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted

Physical capability to properly handle tooling and safely set up large pieces; including lifting, pushing, pulling, and positioning products

Must be able to stand, sit and bend for long periods of time

Candidates must be able to pass a post-offer / pre-employment drug screen and job-related employment physicals

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States
