Responsibilities

Design review to assure adherence to applicable codes, standards, and project requirements

Design raceway systems including underground ductbanks, cable tray and above ground conduit

Design lighting systems including interior, exterior and roadway lighting

Design grounding systems

Coordination with engineering and other crafts to assure a complete, coordinated design

Qualification

Electrical design experience2D3D CADAutoCAD/MicroStationMicrosoft OfficeNational Electrical CodeCommunication skillsOrganizational skillsTeamwork

Required

High school diploma or Associates Degree with adequate drafting courses

Minimum of 5 years of electrical design experience within the Power/Energy and Industrial Industry areas

2D and 3D CAD experience required

Must have a working knowledge and computer-aided drafting applications AutoCAD and/or MicroStation

Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required

Must be able to understand and comply with company policies, procedures, and processes

Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills

Must be organized, self-directed, able to prioritize and multi-task, work in a team environment and take direction from others

Willingness to travel and work in office and field environments as necessary

Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code

Preferred

Bachelor's Degree or Associates Degree

Experience with AVEVA E3D and/or Bentley MicroStation preferred

Certificate in Design/Drafting

5-7 years of electrical design experience preferred
