The Business Financial Professional will assist in executing the Program’s Budget by creating and maintaining spend plans, processing requisitions, and coordinating financial data with various government officials.

Responsibilities

Assist with the validation/completion of Unliquidated Obligations (ULOs)

Assist the Government Business Contract Management Offices with conducting the End of Year activities

Enter, process, and modify requisitions in the NSA’s financial management system to include all necessary information and ensure customer acceptance

Create and maintain spend plans in the customers financial management system

Assist Government Program Managers (GPMs) in tracking requirements through execution by tracking and monitoring requisitions through the approval and certification process and to the subsequent destination

Pull Financial Reports and Data from customer systems and utilized established acquisition ad financial management policies

Assist the government in monitoring proper financial code usages, responding to internal and external financial data inquiries, monitoring expenses against budgets

Assist the government in coordination, entry, and finalization of basis of estimate data to include current year updates, providing data for estimating activities and in the creating of budget or financial planning

Provide financial status reports to Government Program and Business Management Offices and prepare financial briefing materials for Government financial reviews

Coordinate and schedule financial reviews

Aid in analyzing and developing improved policies, plans, methods, procedures, and systems of acquisition management

Compile, prepare and assist in program and budget information

Assist with the interpretation of requests for data and facts, prepare tasking requests, point papers, briefing charts, documentation, and other document for Government review

Analyze financial data and transactions for appropriate use

Required

TS/SCI level clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph

Four (4) years of DoD, IC, or 6 (six) years of combined DoD, IC and commercial experience in purchasing or finance required

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel to include creating formulas and pivot tables is required

Eight (8) years of DoD, IC, or ten (10) years of combined DoD, IC and commercial experience in purchasing or finance and a Bachelor's Degree with a business focus is required

Experience in the preparation of reports that reflect programs/project status in areas of cost, schedule and performance is required

Experience in budget planning, budget preparation and budget execution for acquisition programs is required

Twelve (12) years of DoD, IC or fourteen (14) years of combined DoD, IC and commercial experience in purchasing or finance and a Bachelor's Degree with a business focus is required
