Avionics Journeyman Software Engineer
Naval Systems, Inc. is a privately held company providing quality products and services to the Department of Defense. They are seeking an Avionics Journeyman Software Engineer to support the Navy Consolidated Automated Support System (CASS) Program, providing software engineering support to the CASS Fleet Support Team and collaborating on the development of state-of-the-art systems.

Responsibilities
Apply software engineering knowledge in support of the design, development, T&E, implementation, maintenance, and administration of new and/or existing software systems
Collaborate, plan and execute in support of CASS and eCASS development/upgrade efforts
Host software engineers, electrical/electronic engineers, technicians and test personnel in developing state-of-the-art systems, such as the Common Development Environment for Test (CDET)
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science/software engineering from an accredited college or university
3 years of experience and preferably some Department of Defense experience
Secret Security Clearance
Strong understanding of C++
Ability to use Visual Studio 2010
Debugging C++ Wrapper, Drivers, and support handlers
Create drivers for different hardware components mainly instrumentation
Understanding of DUTs or UUTs
Know how to use TestStand, LabVIEW and any other NI products
PXIE Chassis, controllers, pcie
Understanding of DCOM and possible TCPIP connections (Future development)
Data Acquisition, Shared memory, and data management tools
Basic Electrical Engineering concepts to test different instrumentation and write software based on analysis
