Responsibilities

Partner with OCIO leadership to develop annual investment program for pricing, financial planning and ALM

Partner with OCIO team to reevaluate the objectives and roadmap to manage company interest rate exposure

Lead the development of long-term strategic asset allocation targets for all product portfolios

Work with Finance, Risk, and Investments team to develop and illustrate the interest rate and ALM hedging solutions

Develop strategies to enhance the financial performance of the existing investment portfolio while improving the risk resiliency

Lead the development of investment strategies to support the new business growth objectives by completely enhancing product pricing for both retail and institutional businesses

Support various capital management and reinsurance initiatives across the firm

Coordinate Asset Transfer among portfolios with investment operation, controllers, and finance for ALM, Portfolio Construction, Cash Management and Liquidity purposes

Responsible for development of investment assumptions used for new business pricing, in-force asset, and capital adequacy testing, including development of future reinvestment strategies

Lead the quarterly ALCO meetings with business unit executive and finance leaders

Required

Proven leadership abilities

Strong executive presence and communication skills

15+ years professional experience in insurance or asset intensive financial services industry

Deep knowledge of insurance assets and liabilities, including capital markets experience

Advanced degree in Finance, Mathematics, or Actuarial Science

Ability to think outside the box

Ability to work independently as well as be a thought leader

Ability to work with tight deadlines and changing priorities and requirements

Ability to create effective partnerships with diverse roles and positions throughout the organization

Preferred

Industry credentials (e.g. CFA, FSA etc.) strongly preferred
