LaunchTech is seeking a Model Based Systems Engineer (MBSE) to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA). This role focuses on driving adoption of MBSE principles across the organization and integrating system design into a cohesive digital environment.

Responsibilities

Drive culture and adoption of MBSE throughout the organization by promoting the use of MBSE and providing training and support to the team

Develop standard work and business operating procedures related to MBSE and system architecture deployment

Create formal processes for applying MBSE within the program

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive and integrated system design and digital environments

Integrate Model Based Systems Engineering principles and requirements into digital environments across the enterprise

Develop and manage system architectures, interfaces, and requirements using MBSE tools, creating models with SysML or similar languages to represent structure, behavior, and functional/non-functional requirements

Communicate complex engineering information to team members of various backgrounds and disciplines

Help establish and maintain the Technical Baseline for a Command and Control (C2) and Research, Development, and Test (RDT) Operations Center
