Auld & White Constructors is looking for motivated students eager to gain hands-on experience in the construction industry as Field Interns. In this role, you'll work alongside experienced professionals to learn construction processes and contribute to real projects, while also assisting in coordinating on-site activities and ensuring compliance with project specifications.

Responsibilities

Work alongside the superintendent to coordinate on-site activities, including subcontractor scheduling, material deliveries, and equipment logistics

Assist in monitoring construction quality and ensuring compliance with project specifications and building codes

Participate in safety meetings, inspections, and audits to promote a safe working environment. Help implement safety protocols and procedures

Assist in documenting project progress, including daily logs, photos, and reports. Provide updates to project stakeholders as required

Support the Superintendent in managing subcontractors, including coordinating their work, resolving issues, and ensuring their adherence to project requirements

Participate in meetings with clients, architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders. Communicate project status, issues, and resolutions effectively

Actively seek opportunities to learn about construction practices, project management techniques, and industry standards. Take part in training sessions and mentorship programs provided by the company
