Intensive Case Management Intern (unpaid)
The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is a leading humanitarian organization that responds to crises worldwide. They are seeking an Intensive Case Management Intern to assist clients in overcoming barriers to essential services and coordinate support for refugees and displaced individuals, particularly those facing severe health conditions or social vulnerabilities.

Responsibilities
The Intensive Case Management (ICM) Intern collaborates closely with the ICM Team to assist with a variety of client-centered tasks
These tasks include evaluating skill and resource gaps for clients, building resiliency and self-sufficiency, and leveraging community connections to enhance support for refugee and displaced individuals
This support extends to those with severe physical or mental health conditions, the elderly, LGBTQ+ clients, single-headed households, and victims of sexual assault and gender-based violence participating in the Intensive Case Management (ICM) or Supplemental Case Management (SCM) programs
Qualification
Required
Interns must be based in the US
must be a US citizen or have US work authorization
must be enrolled in post-secondary institution or have graduated from a post-secondary institution within last 2 years
Current enrollment at a college or university for Social Work, Psychology, Public Health or a related field, or 1-2 years of experience in any of these fields
Previous experience and/ or a strong interest in working with refugees and immigrants
Preferred
A bachelor's or master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Public Health, or a related field
certifications and licenses in social work, case management, or medical case management
