Adult Education Supervisor Assistant Intern
The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is a leading humanitarian organization that assists individuals affected by conflict and disaster. They are seeking an Adult Education Supervisor Assistant Intern to support administrative tasks related to Adult ESOL classes, including data entry and communication with students.

Responsibilities
Support with compiling data, performing data entry, and assembling information for comprehensive reports in the internal databases, Microsoft spreadsheets and ASISTS
Support with the development of outreach materials and conducting outreach phone calls for classes, Workforce Development Workshops, and English class orientations
Participate in English Class open enrollment events
Call students to follow-up on attendance in English classes
Maintain timely and organized physical and virtual student files
Facilitate or co-facilitate class orientations and/or workshops
Qualification
Required
Based in the US with US work authorization
Enrolled in post-secondary institution or have graduated from a post-secondary institution within the last 2 years
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Must be willing to work varied hours in a hybrid setting
Fluent in English, both spoken and written
Ideal candidate will have administrative experience working with immigrants or refugees in a social service setting
Preferred
Bilingual ability preferred, preferably in Spanish, French, Arabic, Dari/Farsi, and/or Russian
