Responsibilities
Needs to be someone with strong litigation skills and some federal court experience
The cases are extremely complex. Intellectual Property litigation experience a plus
Attorney must be experienced in working up and going to trial. We need someone whose work does not need to be completely revised
Attorney can be in a second level position on files and draft motions, attend hearings, take depositions, draft pleadings and in the process bill 150+ hours a month
Need someone who can brief complex legal issues. Appellate experience would be a plus for this candidate since some cases will go up
Attorney needs to be able to write well; need the work product to be file-ready with a limited amount of review
Someone who has been through it enough they can actually take a file from soup to nuts and handle every aspect of the case if necessary
Attorney will second-chair the cases at trial
Attorney must be an organized person who can get these cases ready to go despite a massive amount of documentation, and many complex legal issues
Qualification
Required
8 plus years of litigation experience
Strong litigation skills
Some federal court experience
Experience in working up and going to trial
Ability to draft motions, attend hearings, take depositions, and draft pleadings
Ability to bill 150+ hours a month
Ability to brief complex legal issues
Ability to write well and produce file-ready work product with limited review
Experience handling every aspect of a case if necessary
Organized person capable of managing a large amount of documentation and complex legal issues
Preferred
Intellectual Property litigation experience
