Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-disciplinary Amazonians to design, build, and implement cloud based services for managing encrypted network connections

Build distributed systems that are scalable, fault-tolerant, low cost, with ease of management and use

Influence product direction through data-backed technical insights and framing solutions in terms of business impact

Mentor your teammates, helping to grow and develop their technical and operational skills

Participate in oncall rotation in support of our services

Required

3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience

2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience

Bachelor's degree, or CSSLP (Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional)

Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Experience with networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, IPSec)

The candidate selected must obtain and maintain a security clearance at the TS/SCI with polygraph level

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience

Experience with network Layer2/3 encryption(HAIPE/Ethernet Data Encryption(EDE))

Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above
