RQAW is currently looking for engineering and construction students to join a rapidly growing team as interns. The role involves working under supervision, assisting with fieldwork, and gaining a well-rounded learning experience within their field of study.

Responsibilities

Work under supervision of a project manager or senior-level team member
Exercise judgment limited to developing details of work in making preliminary selections and adaptations of engineering alternatives
Interns are assigned duties that will provide a broad, well-rounded learning experience within their field of study
Performing simple calculations, computer data entry, along with some exposure to CAD, GIS, design, and Civil 3D
Assisting with field work for data collection, site inspections and observations
Preparing spreadsheets, and graphs, and figures for design reports
Observe and attend meetings with project stakeholders
Monitor and record the work and progress of contractors while tracking material quality and usage
Work with field inspections teams for oversight of transportation construction projects

Required

Pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering/Construction/Architecture
Willingness to learn new skills
Strong organizational and communications skills
