$11/hr - $11/hrThe University of Central Oklahoma is seeking a FWSP Student Technical - LX Studio to assist and support faculty, students, staff, and clients in utilizing LX Studio spaces. The primary responsibility of this role is troubleshooting technology issues and providing excellent customer service in classroom settings.

Responsibilities
Provide excellent customer service to students, faculty, staff, clients, and guests, including identifying and assisting them with classroom, technology, and facility needs
Provide basic technical support for instructors in classroom settings
Provide basic troubleshooting of any technology issues
Accurately and promptly report technical problems to the supervisor
Provide some clerical and general office assistance as needed
Respond to customer queries in a professional, timely, and accurately via phone, email, or chat
Record and/or update documentation of technical, facility, and/or process issues and valuable discussions
Share requests and effective workarounds with supervisor and team members
Follow up with students, faculty, staff, clients, and guests to ensure their technical issues are resolved
Qualification
Required
Must be enrolled at least half-time for fall/spring semesters (5 hours for graduates, 6 hours for undergraduates)
International students must be enrolled full-time (9 credit hours for graduates, 12 credit hours for undergraduates)
Must be enrolled in at least 3 credit hours to work during the summer
Must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours (if undergraduate) or 5 credit hours (if graduate) for FWSP positions
Must be awarded work study through the Office of Financial Aid & Scholarships
Maintain a positive and professional customer service-oriented attitude
Ability to understand basic troubleshooting techniques
Interest in technology and willingness to learn
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Detail-oriented
Multi-tasking abilities
Patience with challenging issues
Dependable, punctual, and friendly
Preferred
Familiarity with Zoom, Webex, and Microsoft Teams is a plus!
